A great day at Stonebridge, finally nice sunny and warm weather to make the game thoroughly enjoyable. Pommie's first event as an OC. All seemed to go relatively smoothly, aided by an experienced and supportive group of slammers. Thanks to all! And especially to Maiden and KC for coaching me on how to enter results and complile this summary. Thanks also to IM for skins and to Juice for the doggies.

  • Chilly achieves his 500th event

  • Some negotiating on challenges: SR begged Sutty to "please release me" (isn't that a 60's song?) and Sutty conceded in exchange for a beer or a match. SR produced a match (stick) on the 1st tee. So I guess they are all square!

  • 2 other guys went 3-0 but were passed over on stars due to lack of birds, dogs and skins. Great playing nonetheless

  • First (fastest group) proposes a new slammer rule: that slow groups (2 holes behind) buy a pitcher of beer. Only problem with that of course, is you will have to wait for your beer - you guys want to rethink this?

  • Juice won't drink the water, but she licks her balls!
