What an awesome day to travel in from "Toronto" or "Montreal" and play golf in Brockville. The leaves were turning on many trees, except for "The Pines". Climbing "Cardiac Hill" to get a view of "The Signature Hole" wasn't so bad, (although I was in a cart haha). Irons put another "Notch" in his belt going 2-0 and taking first star. Mulder was "Double Trouble" for Pozzo and Boomer going 2-0 as well. Although there was a "Little Misery" today due to some rain, it wasn't so bad that anyone needed a "Mulligan" for going in the Pond. Putting on the greens was slow...almost like tapping one into the "Corner Pocket". All in all, the Brockville Golf and Curling Club and their gracious host, Potter, were just as fantastic to the Slammer Tour as they always are. Although the rain, the long weekend and the drive may have scared a few off, this is a course I love to play and will keep coming back to play every chance I get. ........................................................................................................................
