Dragonfly

Weathermen suck. I said it. They suck. The weather at Dragonfly was great. Predictions called for 10mm of rain this afternoon and we probably got 1 or 2. 8 golfers trekked out to Renfrew for what turned out to be a great day. The recent run of rain has created some really thick conditions off the fairways which was fun....errr....tough to hit out of. It was like playing on the PGA!! The staff at DFly were once again first class from the check in with Slammer CMAC, to the DFly girls on the carts and at the counter to the Dfly marshalls who not only are some of the friendliest around but even gave one of our slammers a ride from the clubhouse to 10 after the slammer stopped off to grab a dog. (the edible kind!!). Thanks Irons for doing the QuickSnap Doggies and I hope to see you all at the double header at Dfly coming up soon. p.s. The Dragonflies have hatched and they are actively eating the mosquitos up so we only saw the nasty bloodsuckers on a couple of holes. .....................................................................................
