One day folks will get it! Take a little drive and start your weekend RIGHT! I may appear biased, so ask others that have played here this year. Prescott is the best maintained course on the Tour this season. (please note that it isn't the other course's fault - that they can't get out and maintain - BLAME MOTHER NATURE!). The proof that I provide is that in my last five events, we have played lift, clean and cheat everywhere BUT here. Not one Slammer came in complaining about it

  • TC Super Senior. This season's first match has PapaMalone getting cracked like an egg. This was the battle between 8 & 9 seed, but wasn't much of one, as it was done 6and5. Cracker moves on to face GoffBall in the next round.

  • NOTABLE greens - How many of us had a putt be below the break? Actually, I should ask - how many times? I count 12/18 that our group experienced (UNLeSS your name is Sunny on 14 & 16 - YES!)

  • QUICK SNAP doggie report. Thank you to that most famous Slammer! Once again NOBODY volunteered, please try it! If you need to know how to volunteer / what to do, then send me an email to my SlammerTour account and I will help you along. When NOBODY volunteers then the OC (and when it is me – you get ME!) ends up doing extra duties – which ultimately takes a few more minutes. Yes most off duty OCs offer a hand at the last minute. They don’t volunteer online as they are giving the rest of the Tour a chance to help.

  • Dyke had the first doggy today on the fourth hole. Then he did it again on hole nine. Looking like a sweep? Staying with the QUICK SNAP doggies. Did you know that today’s winner of the longest drive contest (drove in from Toronto), is not famously known for his doggy work. He is one of the Tour’s originals (see last notable), and didn’t get his first dog until his 10th event. He hasn’t had a doggie in his last 21 events. Two in one round? Well he did have three at Greensmere on Oct. 14,2006. That’s right – it’s been 10.5 years since his last multiple doggy event.

  • NOTABLE – TEE BLOCKS – driving distances dropped at Royal Birkdale and not one golfer on the Tour moved up a set of tees! PLEASE NOTE that here at Prescott, it has been determined that T4 will become a hybrid (white / red) at our next event.

  • BROKER4TICKETS skins report was ONCE again done by Mulder. This likeable alien OC won the Preston Cup. I wonder if he got so many votes because people like his shtick! Seven skins today, but only 4 bone collectors. auldphart was often putting for birds, collects two skins with NO birdies, and one with a BOGEY!

  • NOTABLE – quotable - Look at last Friday and notice that Mulder was quoted about being tentative. Well today he did it again! Same quote on the ‘registration comment’ column. Why? Look at the first quotable below.

  • NOTABLE – from tomorrow’s event. My little sister chill was successful at mentioning her disdain that Grumpy’s report being late.

  • Notable from last week – congratulations Pickle for becoming the #1 overall. One little hiccup – YOU ARE NOT the youngest ever – see Aug. 24, 2008 at Nation. Baldee was a couple of years younger!

  • NOTABLE contest – Trivia buffs – who will collect this prize? Up above – I mentioned that Dyke is an original Slammer. Although the Tour has some stories dating back to 1997, we officially started recording facts in 2001. How many Slammers have been on Tour since 2001? List them and send to me to collect the prize.
