What can we say about Mountain Creek? This is one of the favorite tracks in Slammer world. Fairways and greens were fabulous and the rough was a little lush today (thank you rain). 16 slammers had a great time on the course and off, partaking in some yummy specials on the 19th hole. Pace of play was excellent! First group in under 4 hours! Last group had a few spraying issues and let in a public group in front of them (that was nice guys), but still came in in 4 hours 15 minutes. The public group were honorary Slammer members for the day but could NOT beat our guys on the par 3s! They also enjoyed our after round wrap-up and the smack talk came naturally to them. DOGGIE Report: All 4 par 3s hit today for 20 bones a piece. T-Bird takes #3 at 7'5". Panda sticks #7 at 9'1". Gator grabs the tough #14 at 19'9" and TMC makes a heart-breaker on #16 at 1 foot. Why a heart-breaker? Because Katniss laid down her doggie at 4' and it would have been her FIRST! Awww! And because TMC's ball went over the hole denying him the big hole-in-one pot. Awww! Nice shooting all.

Thank you Hawkeye for stepping up for doggie master duties and bringing your big tape measure with you! Pretty precise measurements there, sir!

SKINS REPORT: If you had a birdie, you had a skin (except for the one cut-off ... doh!). T-Bird picks up 2 skins, TMC picks up 2 skins and Iron Maiden picks up the final skin. All worth 15 bones each.
