We are back at the Creek for the tenth time this season and so far there have been 190 Slammer rounds played here. Out of that 190 – know how many complaints that there were? That’s right, NONE! Welcome back to the house that likes to host the Tour! Always going out of their way to accommodate. Slammer specials, many favours – the occasional ‘throw in’. What more can be said? Oh then again there is Gregory riding around in a cart and NOT working. He promised good weather, but we did have to put our jackets on once for a short period. Thanx again Jonathan! I know that I am not Mulder but I did try my best, he does have BIG shoes to fill.

MPC match results in the SENIOR division. A pair of the young seniors competed and #1 seed Chef defeated #4 P-Diddy 2and1 to advance to the final.

PACE of PLAY. It sure is a relative term isn’t it? Five sheets are handed in and all comment about pace. We go from “where is everyone?” from the threesome that led … to a little slow, to 4:10, to good pace. In golf it is just like in life – IT SURE IS HARD TO please everyone.

You know that you are old when auldphart calls you Mr.

MILESTONES – Hole eight … P-Diddy gets his 25th career birdie. Two holes later he starts his next 25. Mulder draws with Potter and it is the third time in their 16 matches, but today’s is the 44th time that a Slammer has ‘kissed his sister(tie)’ half a century of times. That’s right Mulder now has 50 career draws.

Grumpy was the 16th Slammer to be introduced today but the first one to have lost to all three of his opponents.

We all know that it is an honour to fill out the sheet after the round. We know that the person handed it at the beginning isn’t always the one to return it. Group four today the sheet was handed to Zoey, he lost to 3wd and gave him the sheet to fill out. He graciously showed the rookie how to do it “Hey Zoey how many times have you filled out one of those?” “Once!”
