Cloudy skies help to moderate the summer heat keeping the temperatures down in the low 20s. Just simply enjoyable golf weather. Scorable course conditions, excellent service provided by Champlain staff from the pro shop to the 19th hole, wonderful weather and a great bunch of Slammers made for a very enjoyable Monday morning Slammer event at Champlain. Champlain is in good condition with some quick and true greens. Morning watering of the course and a couple of greens having been recently sanded and reseeded. Lots of progress has been made in bringing the course to summer conditions.
