Fantastic fall weather, and the course in great shape, and just a few leaves. The rookie group came to play with Hodgy taking 2 dogs and a skin; Jaybird with a dog and a skin and Irony grabbing a dog (ironically cutting off Iron-Maiden). The C's were salivating as C1 Poochie, honoured us with his presence, and despite a spirited defence succumbed to Pommmie and Bookie. Congratulations to Bookie, the new guy with a target on his back! Run for October here we come! New temporary? C1 crowned. Thanks to Pipeline for Doggie Master and to The Game for managing skins.
Event winner erroneously announced as Bookie, but system glitch overlooked Hodgy's dog, so the real winner is .....Hodgy! Went 2-0, scored an A class score, doubled with a skin and dog with a bird on #15 as well as a bird-skin on #7. Well played (OC at Mountainview will give you winner's Ian Stirling sleeve of balls (coloured to match the fall leaves!). Sorry Bookie - you'll have to hit your sleeve into the woods, to expand Ian's marketing!
