Another incredible weather week and perfect timing to have an event at The Marshes with carts included ! Five full groups of Slammers met at high noon in the West and most arrived early to take full advantage of one of the best practice facilities available to us on this travelling Tour. If you ask any veteran Slammer they will tell you that we don't have one "home" course, we have many. Or even, that each and every course is home. As Slammers we play some of these courses so often over the years that we get to know them like they are our home course and yes we even get the members bounce sometimes. As we return each week, each month, each season to some of these courses you can't help but remember "that" time that sticks out in your mind as a great memory ... maybe not always the best round but there is always a thought of that great match or even the time you had a great shot on a particular hole at that course. The rest of this week is looking even hotter than it was today so drink lots of water and keep staying safe Slammers.
Gator was right at home "in"...I mean "at" The Marshes today as he successfully defends his C rank against Charlie and The Enigma and comes up just one bite short of taking over the #1 C spot. Gator was 3 up with 3 to go and had SRR in his jaws but should have clamped down a little tighter as SRR leveraged himself out of this tight spot, wins the next three holes and defends his #1 C rank. What a match gentlemen ! I One doggie, one bird that held for the skin and a tidy well played round earns Gator the top honors of the day. Awesome !

The Marshes was in excellent mid summer form and greens were running nicely. The course staff were super organized for COVID accommodations with outside field service and tables set up around the practice putting green.
