A rare late afternoon Thursday event and three groups of Slammers met at the Gatineau for what will be one of our last 3pm start events this 2020 season. Yes the days are a little shorter but that just gives us more of a push to play. And with cooler and shorter days comes the best part of the season - Fall golf is just about the best and most fun time to play...especially as a Slammer ! Good luck to everyone playing Sun Scramble week and to all those who have already made it through to Championship Saturday and Sunday, kick butt !

Course Report
Gatineau was truly in great mid summer condition and greens rolled nicely but the big change that can't be missed is the major construction taking place along the 15-17th holes. The large area of green space is being prepped for new home construction and the course has a shuttle to get players from the 15th green to the 16th tee box that would otherwise be a 15 min trek. A long 6 seater cart with a makeshift open trailer attached has room to tow 4 carts. Quite the production !
