6 year Slammer Tour Member, Roesy here, hosting his first ever event as an OC at the beautiful Irish Hills Golf and Country Club. We had a fantastic day with 24 Slammers filling up the event and selling out within 2 days of the event opening. Roesy and Juice are hosting multiple events out here this year and hope to see you all out for a great time. The Slammer Tour made history today, with the youngest member ever at 8 years old, please welcome Rickie Fowler JR, Devon. This kid rocked it the entire afternoon! Future O1. There were 2 official CMPC matches which took place today. Both in the pairs division, with the winners matching up in R2. Gatorette and Cobra managed to close out the rookies Alex and Gustavo (who we hope to see out again soon) by the score of 4&3. Congrats on the great rounds. 1 Up going into 17, the team of McGoop and Bubba could not hold on, losing on the 18th hole. Congrats to Kevin and David. Putts were dropping like wild to start, in the final 4 some out of the 6 groups. Iron Maiden dropping a bomb threw 12 feet of fringe and 10 feet of green for a casual birdie and skin on #1. Juice steps up on #2 and drains a 15 footer for a skin. J$ hits a birdie 4 on the par 5, 4th. Follows up with another birdie on #5 but was cut off by Roesy who had no business making his 20 foot bender. Irishman drives 25 yards short of #8 green and makes the birdie 3. Followed up by Irish staff member YoungGun, making a birdie on #9 Blue. Moving over to the red course, there were only 2 skins, made by Irish Hills pro, McGoop on #16 and #17. Each skin was worth $15. 3 of 4 par 3's were hit today. With her re-entrance back into the Slammer Tour, PhatZo sticks a 10 foot Doggie on #4 Blue. Next up, McDon with a shot I wish I was there to witness, sticking it to 1 foot on #7. Next up was #2 red, which all 24 Slammers could not hit the green. (Note 55 Men also missed it 8 days ago during men's night). Playing 235 yards uphill from the Blues, as one of the toughest Par 3's around. Last up, in the final group, of course Iron Maiden had to make her presence into the doggie report, with a great 12 footer, which just missed and made par. Honorable mention to Gatorette on a great round, tying this years personal best and (although not official) upsetting her playing partner Cobra. Also, McDon on a 75! What a round! The sun was shining at a steamy 33 degrees. The course was cut in pristine shape and if you ask Iron Maiden, they were unbelievable greens! With about 150 feet worth of putts drained today from everywhere. Rolling very well! Come check out the beautiful Irish Hills Golf and Country Club!
