Lucky Slammers got to tee off at their scheduled time even though earlier in the day there were questions of whether the course would open at all. Overcast skies with short periods when the sun peaked through and no precipitation or wind made for a manageable Slammer event if one dressed appropriately. First group finished all 18 in 3 hours and 40 minutes while the second group followed the lead. AND yes this was the 1st event of the Slammer Tour 2021 season. Thank you my fellow Slammers for an enjoyable day of golf and late fall fashion statements. Your OC, KC.
Video report from KidsClubThe event winner, Koala has another successful Slammer event under his belt. He beats off Cobra and Cracker with his sticks and has a draw vs Duke. He scores 2 dogs and takes home 2 skins. Koala is the big bones winner of the day. Such a nice start to the 2021 Slammer season. Congrats!!

Course Report
There was a frost delay and the course was unsure if it would open or not. As it turned out, the course opened at around 12:30 and we teed off on our scheduled tee times. Fairways punched and sanded but tolerable given the lateness of the season and some punishing rough made for some imaginative and skilled shots.
