A great, challenging course in outstanding condition, mix in a variety of fun loving Slammers... some sweets and some nuts, lots of vets and lots of rookies, outstanding summer weather with a slight cooling breeze, a welcoming and supportive staff and a super, huge patio over looking the 9th green on the West course. Nobody was going to drive this Chevy today. Chevy comes out irons, woods and putter blazing right off the line and has an outstanding Slammer event. He successfully defends against 3 rank-hungry B players and takes them down on or before the 16th hole. He is becoming Mr. Consistency off the tee, with his irons and his trusty putter as he notches down his scoring median. He registers 2 birdies and takes home 2 skins to boot. If you haven't played Rockland Golf Club in a while, you gotta make the 30 minute drive for the next Slammer Tour event here because it is a summer treat to play. Fairways like carpet, greens which are true, quick and sometimes tricky, tree lined with well placed bunkers... course conditions a 10. Great welcoming staff and the biggest and best patio in the region. WOW, outstanding to play Rockland!!
