What a super way to start off the week...playing a Slammer event at Champlain with early morning tee times. Did you know that these regular Monday morning Champlain events started in 2016 and have been running successfully since then. Slammers love these mornings as witnessed by the laughter and banter around the 1st tee, the Slammership during the round and successful 19th hole where we never miss a putt. And the match play golf was super. They were 4 different Doggie winners and 5 different Skin winners today. Well done. Thank you my fellow Slammers for making the start of the golf week so enjoyable. Was it rock n roll? Just roll. The heatwave we just experienced made for perfectly drivable conditions with lots of roll in the fairways making for longer drives. The greens are in perfect condition. Extra distance on the fairways and great greens made for an interesting day. Thanks to the staff at Champlain for the great service.
