CONGRATULATIONS to JUICE who played her 800th career event today. WOW. Another scorcher of a day as this heat wave continues. Nearly all the Slammers took power carts with a couple of brave souls walking. The golf was great, the heat manageable and the 19th hole rewarding. Two CMPC matches played today...see notables. Dogs and skins were very competitive with 5 doggies taken and 4 skins won. A great day Slammin'...just wish it was cooler. Your OC, KC.
Its so nice to see this Slammer vet playing so well. In her 16th season on Tour, ZenGirl has an outstanding day on the links and is our event winner. ZenGirl, a C Slammer, is in the CMPC Semi-Final Mixed B match and defeats Pepilepu and SunShine both, B Slammers. With Rulz as her partner in the CMPC Semi-Final, they advance to the Finals. She has a doggie, a birdie and shoots a whopping 8 below her median. What a time to be on fire. Congratulations.

Service is always outstanding at Casselview, home of the Commish Cup, and today was no exception. The staff treat the Slammers super from the Proshop, starter, marshals and the 19th hole staff. Thanks. Greens are super, true and quick. Some roll on the fairways due to this heat wave but Casselview waters their fairways and greens keeping them in mint condition. Always a pleasure to play. Checkpoint in the last group, puts it close (7 feet) from the flag. He makes his putts, wins the dog and donates the winnings to the kids. Congratulations Checkpoint and the kids thank you.
