Today was the seventh day of this heat wave with above 30 temperatures. Golfers’ strategy is to take a cart in order to play. And that’s what the Slammers did even though several had to wait just before T off to get their carts. They were in such high demand. Hammond is such an enjoyable and scorable course to play. Doggies were hard to come by today. Only 2 dogs and 6 skins taken today. Thanks my fellow Slammers for Slammin’ in this heat. Wish it was cooler. Your OC, KC.
KidsClub, the event winner, had one of those events where everything went right but can’t explain why. He wins matches vs a very enjoyable 3some RobBob, Lightning and Fairway Phil. He manages a trifecta (dog, skin, birdie) on 1 hole, takes an additional dog and skin and scores below his median. I’ll pat him on the back the next time I see him.

Hammond has a interesting layout with lots of trees and water. Fairways are providing lots of run and roll off the tee. Greens were slower than expected and inconsistent. However the course was so scoreable.
