Event number 4 of the Slammer Tour indoor season is now in the books. 18 Slammers teed it up at Bighorn Canyons in California. Safe to say the weather in California was much more desirable than in our nation's capital on this day. Bit of a white knuckler of a drive home. We welcomed some Slammer tour indoor newbies in Razz and Stumpy and saw many familiar faces who are always eager to come out for a bit of Sunday night fun at GOLFOMAX. Shortstack (2), Stumpy (1) and DRak (1) are your Andrew Smith Doggie winners this evening worth 22 bones each. There were a total of 7 SwingFit skins tonight worth 12 a piece, congrats to Boulay Boulay (2), ShortStack (1), Insane Wayne (1), Kong (1), YipMeister (1) and GolfMD (1). Registration is open for next week's event where we head to Scotland for a date with St Andrews New Course. Looking forward to seeing you all there. Bring a friend and come on out!
Stumpy has himself a night and deservedly gets the nod of event winner tonight. Stumpy was decked out in Montreal Canadians swag reminding all in attendance that they were good last year! Haha all jokes aside, Stumpy took down his three opponents with relative ease and becomes the new B1 in what I believe to be his first indoor Slammer event. He cards 3 birdies, wins a doggie and shoots an impressive score to boot. Well done Stumpy.
