This week we had 12 Slammers out and ready to take on the Scottish links style of golf offered by the legendary St Andrews. Thankfully our version of the Scottish links does not involve wind or these very narrow fairways would be even harder to hit! We had a total of 4 Andrew Smith Doggies up for grabs, and grab them we did with 2 of those going to Stumpy (17 and 34 feet), and 1 each going out to InsaneWayne (21 feet) and Ali G (7 INCHES!). Each of the Doggies was worth 15 bones. As for the SwingFit Skins Report, it seems we had quite a few cut off birdies which resulted in only 4 skins being given out to (Dudzy, Ali G, Kong & D-Rak) each also worth 15 bones. We have a new O1 in the house!! A special thank you always goes out to our volunteers (D-Rak & ShortStack this week) who not only help out, but also grab themselves an extra point in the process, so remember to volunteer early for any of our positions. Lastly, I would be remiss if I did not mention the Most Stylin' Award. This award rarely gets given out, but tonight without argument, our very own ShortStack came out fierce in a vivid display of colour rarely seen on a golf course. Great seeing everyone and we go again next week at Dorado!
Our winner this evening put on a stellar display of Scottish links style golf. With drives missing most of the narrow fairways, our devilishly handsome winner was scrambling to save pars. As always, this particular Slammer manages to look absolutely fantastic while missing greens in regulation and somehow on this day he was able to go 3-0 in his matches. With 5 birdies on the card and a better than median score, this Slammer was able to retain the coveted A1 sauce for another week. :)

After a tighter course last week, the relative open space of St Andrews this week permitted those with wayward drives a chance at a bird. We saw quite a few of those birds tonight. So long as you were able to avoid the one or two bushes on the course or countless pot bunkers, you were able to score.
