Another indoor season for the archives, and now we can get fired about the outdoor season! To recap the evening, here's how the prizing played out: Stirling Johnston points winners (total of your best 7 nights) had Mr. Lyrics in first place with 105 points, earning a free regripping from GolfWorks; 2nd place is ShortStack with 81 points and a twosome to The Marshes; 3rd place is LeWok with 77 points and a twosome; 4th place is BoulayBoulay with 75 points, also winning a twosome; and 5th place is Dudzy with 75 points, winning another twosome. How fitting that on Masters Sunday the Slammer Tour also crowned divisional champions and this is how they played out: TallStack is the B division champ! BoulayBoulay is the A division champ, capping off a great season by taking out the likes of Mr. Lyrics, Kong and Chipmein on his way to being crowned the A champ! In the coveted Open division, the battle came down to the 18th hole where ShortStack made a clutch birdie to defend his rank of Top Dog. The divisional winners take home a twosome to The Marshes and a new #1 Slammer hat which is way cooler than a green jacket. Our group winners this evening took home a pair of nice Slammer tour sunglasses: Ali G, BoulayBoulay, TallStack and ShortStack. Thanks to the staff at GOLFOMAX for a great season, and thanks to all Slammers who came out to enjoy some Sunday night fun throughout the year! And, of course, thanks to all who volunteered for duties like photo-master and doggie master! See you all soon!!
Well it took a few indoor events to figure out what he was doing, but it seems that TallStack peaked when it mattered most. The Masters must have gotten his golf juices flowing as he takes out all three opponents in the B division final group (Dudzy, SlapShot and InsaneWayne) to be crowned this year's B champ on the sims. He cards his first 3 birdies of the season and shoots 14 strokes below his scoring median. Well played TallStack. Enjoy your re-gripping and your new #1 Slammer tour hat!
