What a gorgeous day to play golf today! We had 12 Slammers out on the course battling it out, with two CMPC matches on the line. We had a mix of high and low scores, proving it wasn't the course! Although the golf club is still without power, it did not diminish the experience. The wind created a few tougher holes but overall it was an enjoyable day on the course. A big thanks to the staff at Stittsville for their warm welcome today!
We had a few Slammers out there scoring today and it came down to a tiebreaker to determine the event winner. Both Moz and A Mac had stellar days on the course scoring 12 points with wins over all of their matches however it was the extra match point for A Mac today due to his CMPC match that has made him our event winner. A Mac went 3-0 in his matches, grabbed a dog along the way and scored better than his median. Great playing today A Mac, congrats!

Course Report
The Stittsville Golf and Country club took a bit of a hit during the latest storm that went through. They are still without power, many trees have been downed (which may have improved the view on some errant tee shots), but above all, golf went on! The course is lush and green and they have kept the rough long enough to pose a challenge to those of us who are opposed to the fairway. They did have drinks available which helped quench our thirst, and for some, drowned their sorrows.
