It was a small field today with another event going on and the Ottawa Citizen Championship but none the less, these 4 Slammers had a great time in 2 big CMPC matches. Firstly in the D Division, it was a back and forth battle all day. Akhter had a lead in the front 9 and continued into the back but Dan clawed his way back. The highlight of the round was Dans shot on #16, par 3, knocking it to 3 feet for the birdie. Dan advances to the CMPC D Div semi finals! Congats!. Lastly, we had a great A battle. There were a lot of missed opportunities by both players but Roesy takes it 5up. A big W to advance to the final 4 of the CMPC A Div.
In his 1st ever Slammer Tour Event, Dan is the event winner! After being 4 down with 8 holes left, he managed to fight his way back to win his CMPC D Div matchup on hole #18! He also had a great shot on #16 Par 3, which he rolled up to 3 feet and hit the birdie! Final 4 here you come!
