Its the second event this season at Nation. It has been quite an hiatus for the Slammer Tour from Nation which was a regular stop on the Slammer events train. We are super glad we are back at this scenic, treed lined and challenging course. Bring your deep woods off if you spray the ball. Although it was a hot day on the links, it was so very manageable and enjoyable golfing. (remember the deep freeze of winter). Some great company and discussions since nearly all the Slammers took a cart. Lots of newer Slammer coming out to enjoy Slammer Tour. Even though the restaurant was closed for the season, 10 of the 12 Slammer stayed on the patio to enjoy a cold beverage sold at the proshop and to listen to the wrap up. A nice summer day of Slammin'
Kimanzi playing in his 3rd Slammer event shows us that he going places with his Slammer golf game. He defeats PlayItFwd, TravelFreak (C22) and Tigresse. He takes home a dog (his career first), a skin (his career 2nd) and shoots better than his median. Congratulations on your fine performance today.
