We had 24 Slammers out today and in that total we had 3 CMPC matches in the Senior Open Senior B and Parent/Child B with all 3 games being taken inside 18 holes. Congratulations to Mac, Koala and CaptainHook & Pascal Roy-Lapensee who advance to the next rounds. In the B Div the #1 rank was up for grabs and it was snatched away by our rookie GasTank who took down Banzai in the shock of the day. C1 was also up for grabs with Cracker giving up the crown to GoHabsGo on the 17th hole. We had a big upset in the last group today where Cobra (B6) defeated Duke (A19) 1up; great job Cobra. The round of the day goes to Mac who shot a fine 77 in tough conditions. I am sure it feels like a 72. Well done Mac! We had 8 winning skins today, all of them won with birdies, and a few other birdies where cut off. All our par 3 dogs where won on the day with Cracker helping himself to two. Thank you to those who shared a beer at the wrap up presentation at the Barley Mow; we had some laughs for sure. See you all at the next one.
GoHabsGo is our top Slammer today and the event winner. He accumulated 15 Stirling Johnston points taking down all 3 Slammers in his group for 9 points, he had a birdie for 2 points, a skin for 2 points and last but not least he is the new C1 for another 2 points. Congratulations and well played.
