A perfect hot hot day at Mountain Creek under sunny skies. One of those days where you're looking for shade and scanning the sky to see when the next cloud might pass over for a little relief. Five full groups of Slammers headed to White Lake west of the city to play this always fun course and while the roll and bounce were stupendous, the greens were rolling quite fast yet you could go for the pin since they were soft and sticking nicely. And we had an EAGLE by Chipmein on the tough 6th hole! All on the 19th wanted to know how it happened! Just awesome. Great day everyone!
Marmotte was a true digger today and constructed himself a fine round out there with wins over TNT, HMB and Katniss and is now the top D on Tour! We were in the group ahead and saw many fist pumps from this fine Slammer as we looked back to cheers from his group. And he bettered his scoring average today by almost twenty strokes shooting not a D, not a C, but a B score out there! Thinking that Marmotte has a new favourite course now and will be looking to go back to Mountain Creek soon! Congrats and keep up the great playing.
