We were a small group that ventured out to the valley, but managed to have 7 players in for skins! A beautiful mid-August day and the sun was warm. Thanks to Carrot Top, (who was not able to make this event) - but she donated her past winnings to the kids. Thanks Line! Also of note today Jimmy J played his 10th event so he gets a free entry into the Ottawa Sun Scramble. Congrats to BogeyB who defended his D1 rank and now is able to get his # 1 cap. Well Done!
As you can see by the stats in the box to the right here, this Slammer had a very good day! One might ask the question if he is ready for B division? Hmmm

Thanks to Mountain Creek for accommodating the Slammer Tour on short notice. The course is in good condition and the greens were fast. Make sure to register for the ClubEG Club Championship as this is the first course we play on September 17. Oh, and the new golf carts are great: USB ports and rain covers!
