An absolutely outstanding summer day playing Slammer Tour match play golf at Metcalfe Golf. A full house of keen Slammers taking on a course in super summer conditions. Lots of close matches as the outcome of 16 matches were determined either on the 17th or 18th hole. All 4 doggies taken and 7 skins won. Simply a great day to be Slammin'. And this is the last event at Metcalfe until the final event of the ClubEG Championship in mid September. Always a pleasure to golf with fellow Slammers. Your OC, KC.
The event winner, Shades, has been on a streak playing some excellent golf. He successfully defends his lofty A2 spot against Duke, Moz and Skeeter. He takes home 1 dog, 2 skins and scores 3 birdies. Shades registers a stroke play score of 7 over and beats his median. He is the big bones winner potting himself 46 bones. He is on a streak and is tough to beat. Great performance, Shades 😎.
