I feared playing today - rain is not my friend. This small group of nine battled the elements once again... we have no off button! Some discovered the magic of rain gloves... a game changer he says! Some played 18 in 2 hours and 10 minutes as no one was seen on the course... except fellow slammers and even then ... we were "alone" as the only foursome - never saw a soul! The 19th hole was quiet as only 3 of us stuck around but we took the opportunity to reminisce of our silly golf adventures over the years ... thanks Rulz and Zen Girl for making me laugh!
Well this one came out, rode around solo in her "tent" and made golf look so easy! She defeated Juice and Gator and if it weren't for the CMPC mix match, she would have tied Rulz, her partner. She also gets a birdie on 4 after sticking her approach shot to 3 feet, made that for her skin, got a dog on 13, (cutting off Gator) and just played an absolutely spectacular round... wonder what she had in that "tent" to inspire her! Regardless, great to see my friend play so well! Smuggler's reunion ZG? (heart)
