We had 14 Slammers come out today and some fine scoring across the board. There were 5 doggies up for grabs and some fine iron play by these Slammers made sure all the doggies were collected. My match was done early and I witnessed Mongo and one of our rookies, Elvin S, both hit outstanding shots to 9 feet on hole #16. They shared the dog but our rookie gets the final nod in his 1st Slammer event. I’m sure Mongo doesn't mind. Great rounds by D-Mart (65 and our new O1) and YipMeister (69) were the highlights of the night. Well done to everyone for tonight and welcome to our 2 newbies, Jophin J and Elvin S.
Our event winner is YipMeister with 17 points, narrowly beating his opponent and rookie, Elvin S, who also had 17 points. The tiebreaker was match points won with YipMeister having 10 points to Elvin S with 9 points. Well done to you both.
