With the Super Bowl being played out tonight it was a small group making it out to GOLFOMAX for this event but our 9 players enjoyed the golf and for those interested the Super Bowl was showing on the screens inside if they wanted to watch, so thanks to GOLFOMAX for that. Big shout out to our Rookie “Frannie” in her 1st event: we hope to see you back out playing soon and in the summer, and on a last note, Treps and YipMeister between them accumulated 15 birdies in the round; that has to be record for indoor... what a battle they had.
YipMeister is our event winner for the 4th time this season in indoor. He was promoted to the Open division before tee off as a result and also moved back a tee block and did not look out of place and is quite the player. I was a mere spectator watching him and Treps tear lumps out of each other going for that #1 spot. In the end after a colossal 15 Birdies between them YipMeister takes it on the very last green with a crushing long putt and the final bird to seal the win. He putted so well today and deserves the win. Treps, I hope you slept well last night buddy, well played to you both. YipMeister's final tally of 15 Stirling Johnston points were as follows: wins over Treps and Bagpipes (6pts), New #1 (2pts), threesome make-up point (1pt), Bonus points, 8 birdies (3pts), beat his median score 66<76 (1pt) and finally he won 5 skins (2pts).
