18 Slammers attended Dragonfly in Renfrew with some tough winds to contend with, where every hole seemed to have a different wind direction each time….. we had battles for D1 with FromWell holding the crown and holding off the challenges from Ruth, TNT and Reddoggiegirl…. many other challenges took place including our Rookie of the day, RART, who climbs up the C Div with wins over Tiger and Dizz. Well done and welcome to the Slammer Tour. Shout out also to our two volunteers Ruth and Reddoggiegirl who took care of doggie master and photo master duties, thanks ladies. Last but not least we had a total of $60 donated by our Slammers to the kids and three Slammers donated their entire winnings…. very generous, thank you.
FromWell is our event winner with 17 Matheson Group points… 3 wins, 1 Doggie, 1 Birdie and he successfully defended D1. A very solid performance and well played.

Don’t you just love a wee trip out to the valley and to sunny Renfrewshire…….Dragonfly hosted our 18 Slammers today and what an assortment of talent we had. The course was in magnificent shape attested by the many Slammers at the 19th hole having a cold beverage and discussing the trials and tribulations of valley golf.
