ClubLink courses are always a treat to play and Kanata was no exception.The Slammers enjoyed one of the best maintained courses in the Ottawa area. Mature trees, rolling mounds, water, large rocks and large bunkers set the challenges for the day and the smallish tricky greens encourage high approach shots and caution on putting speed. Only 3 of the 4 doggies captured and 8 skins won. Better Business Bureau B CMPC match Mitchell Miranda vs Ryan Norris ends in a draw after 18 with Ryan Norris advancing after 2 tie breaker holes. Senior B match ended with Randy Guthro defeating Mark Perrigo. Congrats participants. A nice refreshing windup on the 19th hole. A super day Slammin' at Kanata Golf and Country Club. Your OC, KC.
Stevie Ray has a super Slammer day at Kanata. He goes 3-0-0 defeating KidsClub, Auldphart and Carrot Top and jumps high up the C division ranking ladder as he becomes the new C1. Kanata Golf Club is one of the tighter ClubLink course in the Ottawa area. The course is in summer condition with rolling fairways well maintained, quick, true and tricky greens and a pleasant variation of golf course terrain that was pleasing to the eye and challenging to the sticks.
