It was another hazy shade of summer out there today as the air quality went from good to very high risk by noon. We started and played our event through the smog but there was a good wind that seemed to clear the air and reduce the heat and humidity. A fun day all around with a great mix of Slammers in this event: nine Slammers in the field who have played over 225 lifetime events and eleven who have played less than 50. Love seeing all the new blood out there and the new fun rivalries forming. Thank you for a great day everyone!
MannyR came out to play his CMPC A match against DeeWayne and took the win by the 17th hole. He also recorded the wins against Footie and Kas, had 1 bird that held up for the skin and shot seven strokes below his median...and all from the T7 tee blocks. Congrats! (recommendation to re-nickname this rookie Slammer "BullDurham")
