Tunes a blasting in the SUV as I am driving out to Le Sorcier on this beautiful sunny (rain-free) summer day to play Slammer Tour golf with a warm, friendly but competitive crowd. What an absolutely spectacular day to play one of the most beautiful and challenging 18-hole public golf courses in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Some very close matches, a few big upsets, a CMPC match but most of all it so enjoyable playing Slammer golf. A new C1, congrats Grasshopper. A C winning a match over a B, congrats Lightning. Duke and Latey Dress advancing over Intruder and Travel Freak in the mixed B CMPC. Congrats. Seven skins (2 won with eagles, 3 won by birdies, and 2 par skins) and four doggies won today in this competitive field. Overall a great day to be Slammin'. Your OC, KC.
Grasshopper, the event winner, played excellent target golf today. Long off the tee, irons working and keeping his ball in play most of the time provide some ingredients for success. Grasshopper defeats KidsClub, Tiger (on the 18th) and Dundeeroad (on the 18th). By defeating Tiger, Grasshopper becomes the new C1🥇. He registers an eagle, takes home a skin and shoots a solid B score. Congratulations on your new C1 crown 👑
