With cautious optimism, 4 groups of Slammers came to play match play golf at the home of the Commish Cup. A bit of a later start due to a tournament but the starter and Justine (Slammer name JuJube) were very accommodating so that there was nothing in front of us after the 1st hole. Super service from Casselview...thank you. What a beautiful day to play Slammer golf under super course conditions. B1 and C1 up for grabs. The course was so scoreable as 85% of the scores were in the 80s and 70s. Great for match play and there was lots of movement in the ranking ladders. Green Arrow is the new B1 and GoHabsGo is the new C1 coming out of Casselview. All groups played quickly so as to get the entire round in. Last group finished in 4 hours with sun remaining. Five dogs and 5 skins won today. Two trifectas... a bird, a dog and a skin on a hole... KC and Cobra. Another great day of Slammin'. Thanks my fellow Slammers as you made it a great day. Highlights:

A well deserved standing ovation goes to Green Arrow, our event winner, as he played some outstanding Slammer match play golf right down to the finish line. Green Arrow goes 3-0-0 as he takes down Stymie (on the 18th), Chevy (on the 17th) and Koala (on the 18th). Congratulations to Green Arrow the new B1. On his way to the wins, he registers 2 birdies, wins a skin and registers his low Slammer round of the season. An outstanding Slammer day for Green Arrow... Congratulations.
