The forecast was for hot, hot, hot and hot it was. These Slammers were well prepared for hot summer golf. The Stonebridge marshall and cart girl were of great assistance in providing us with ice cold bottle water, gratis. The super course conditions provide a great venue for Slammer match play golf. Of the 18 matches in play, only 3 resulted in upsets while the remaining 15 were successful defences. A1 (Bagpipes) successfully defends but we have a new B1 (Koala). Congrats. Five of the 6 doggies were captured and 5 skins were won. And 7 of the 12 Slammers stayed to take in the 19th hole activities. A super Slammer day on a super course. Bagpipes has a great Slammer performance and is crowned the event winner scoring 13 Matheson Group Realty points. He beats Duke, Iron Giant and Ruth with his sticks successfully defending his lofty A#1 rank. He takes home 2 doggies and a skin. Bagpipes shoots a solid round below his median score. And he volunteers as our Skin Master. And he provides his delightful Scottish humour to his foursome and on the 19 hole. A true golfer and a great Slammer and a wonderful performance today. Course Report
Stonebridge is in outstanding condition from tee to green. Rough just high enough to find your ball but punishing. Fairways were sprinkled so as to allow for nice divots. And the greens were outstanding. Kudos for the great service from the marshall delivery water to the 19th hole staff. Thank you Stonebridge.

The Marshall and later the cart girl offer the Slammer cold water on the course 4 or 5 times. Moreover, the Marshall told walkers that if they felt tired or sun stroke that they should sit down and call the Proshop and assistance would be sent out ASAP. Such great service by Stonebridge. Thank you.
The B group battled it out over 18 holes and end up with a 1 stroke difference between all four, a new B1 is crowned and 4 matches are determined on the 18th. That Slammer match play golf 😁
