Great group of Slammers journeyed South-West to take on Perth and as always it was super fun to play. All Slammers should try to play at Perth while it is still an 18 hole track. It's still unknown how much time this historical course has with the sale and potential re-development looming. I always like to include a little history in my write ups for this unique gem "Built beside the Tay River in Perth, Ont., the oldest permanent course in Canada was dreamed up by a local farmer and his friends. That farmer, Captain Matheson, would be happy to know three of the holes designed by him are still in play today. The holes once known as 1, 2 and 3 are now currently 1, 8 and 9".

Highlights:

Mega great day for this Mega Slammer as he shoots the lights out taking down Ripzone, TravelFreak and then Will to finish the day as C14, circled two birdies with one holding on for the skin and took home one puppy on a tough pin that probably wasn't easy to even 2 putt.....yet he makes the 25 foot putt for the bird and the trifecta! All this while recording a solid round that was 6 strokes below his SA - Congrats and keep up the great playing!

Course Report

Perth was in absolutely fantastic late summer condition and greens can only be described as evil, especially on the front nine. Severe undulating and fast aren't strong enough words to describe how they ran.

Will loses his cellphone and goes on a course wide tour to search for it, passing most groups in his re-trace journey and finds it in a spot on the 13th that was only steps from the forest that bordered the right side of the fairway - Phewwww !!!

Super great sharing and easy math with 4 doggies and 4 skins that divided the pot very easily given that all were in for both today
