The day started off with rain in the wee hours of the morning both in Ottawa and Gatineau but reports tell us there was only light showers in Rockland. Rockland Golf was in outstanding condition for match play Slammer golf. And it was a great day on the links after it warmed up and the sun came out. Perfect fall weather...jacket on, jacket off, jacket on, jacket off but warm enough for shorts. Lots of interesting and close matches and enjoyable matches. The last group was on fire, as they took home 3 of the 4 dogs won and 6 of the 7 skins won. Great shooting. Two trifectas reported...Steel Crazy and RobBob. Lots of movement in the ranking ladder. Another great day on the links for this Slammer regular as he takes home the event winner status. Racking up 15 Matheson Group Realty Points, Koala is crowned the event winner. OMG what a day for this Slammer as he defeats Pepilepu, Dannat and wins over Steel Crazy, Koala become the new B1. He registers a birdies and takes home 3 skins.
