It was a bit overcast as we started the event but sun came out several holes later to provide the Slammers warmth as we swung our clubs. It was so nice to be out on this fall day. Of the 24 matches there were only 3 upsets. One where a B beats an A player and two matches in the Bs where the winners inch into or further into the top 5. All the rest were successful defences. 3 of the 4 doggies taken and only 2 skins won making for a big bones payout. As always, so enjoyable Slammin' under sunny skies. Thank you my fellow Slammers. Hodgy has a super Slammer day and is crowned the Matheson Group Realty event winner. He goes 3-0-0 to go undefeated. His skins did the talking as he registers 2 birdies, wins a skin and takes home a dog. He registers that famous and always desired trifecta (bird, dog and a skin) on a par 3. Such a great shot it was that it made him the big bones winner for the event. Sweeeet. He always registers a score 5 below his median. Congratulations, Hodgy, on a great Slammer performance!.

Cedarhill Golf and Country Club is in great fall condition. Fairways in excellent shape with lots of roll. Greens had been punched two weeks ago but are rolling quick but a bit bumpy. Service from starter, Darlene, to the staff at 19th hole was great. Thank you Cedarhill.
