This was a day that could not have been wished for any better than it was. After finding out yesterday afternoon that Pine View would not be able to offer carts we were able to secure three times here for today. No easy task as the course was pretty well fully booked on this forecasted unreal weather day and so it took some shifting of players on the tee sheet to even make that happen. This event had twenty players that registered for the lottery and with space for only twelve there were eight players that did not make the cut into the field. The proshop gave us the go ahead to add in a "squeeze" 4th group and get another foursome in and we were so thankful for that. An absolutely perfect day here at Pakenham and thank you to everyone for sticking with it at this time of the year where Mother Nature challenges the course and the players in so many ways. Highlights:

Iron Giant had a super day on the course defending against all that challenged but it was tight with all matches as he had to go all the way to the 17th with Bagpipes, and the final hole to take down Crux and Ticklar. Four birdies circled on his card helped, two held up for the skins and he took home a doggie for good measure. Iron Giant collects 16 Matheson Group Realty points along the way and shoots a score 4 strokes below his median. Nice!

We were treated to the most beautiful day here at Pakenham with course conditions that can only be described as spectacular, especially for November 16th! And with events yesterday and today we got to play all 27 holes on Canyon, Island and Lake courses ... and they were all amazing!

Notables

We had some extra time on the 19th hole as we were waiting for Pineview event to finish their round and update stats so we could then finalize our event. Baloo told us of the days, back in the 70s and even in the 60s, where he used farm this very land where the course now stands. Very cool
