Day two and another group of Slammers headed south to Williamsburg to enjoy some December golf including our newest Slammer and rookie Goats! And we had a Bday Slammer with us today - Happy birthday to RockJim who said this was the best present ever to golf on his bday! We all arrived at Cedar Glen for 10:30 am and both groups were on the course before 11. Today's forecast was showing a little cooler than yesterday but Mother nature jacked up the temps from the forecasted high of 2 degrees to a balmy 5 and with the sun shining it truly felt as warm as yesterday and hand warmers were still not needed. December golf can be very interesting with not only course conditions changing day to day but hole by hole. You never know when you'll get that extra bounce as you hit a frozen part that is in the shade... or if your ball will stick or bounce up to the green ... or if your electric cart will be able to roll out onto the frozen pond or fall through the ice LOL. If you're wondering what that last reference is about check out the FB video of Stymie's electric cart doing donuts on the ice during yesterday's event! Fun day Slammers and I'm already looking forward to Sunday's event here.
Ali G had a great day on the course defending against all that challenged including RockJim and Big Bird and he also recorded the win against Div A player Koala. Ali G was the only player to par the tough 4th and 5th holes and took home the skins for both of those. He was our skins master today and recorded a score three below his median! Congrats and hopefully the weather improves for Monday so we can add an event for you on your day off!

Course Report
Cedar Glen GC is unique in that their 19th hole is also a local restaurant, pizza place and pub for the surrounding residents of Williamsburg and beyond. And the food is amazing! When we arrived today the parking lot was full with the breakfast crowd.
