What a great day to be out playing the Slammer Tour. With a bit of a chilly start that turned into a warm, sunny, very pleasant golf day. It was a peelers club as Slammers peeled off layers of clothing while on the course and as the event progressed. Historically, Slammers play well on this scorable course. Today was no exception. It was so nice enjoying the company of our fellow Slammers on the course, being able to swing the sticks....the golf season is here. Thank you my fellow Slammers for a great day on the course and we look forward to seeing the rest of the Slammers come to enjoy Slammer match play golf. Your OC, KC.
KidsClub is the Matheson Group Realty event winner today as he played some fine Slammer golf. He was lucky today as he played in the only grouping with a foursome and he benefitted from the 10 day inactivity rule as he jumped from C17 to C2 prior to the event. KC successfully defends against Bookie, Papa Malone and Potter. He registers a birdie and shoots his best round in years. Congratulations to KC. PS. I know him and I think he is a good dude. 😁

Course Report
Lombard Glen is in very good condition for the end of March. Spring dry fairways with green grass growing. Greens were in very good condition given the time of the season. Variable in speed from one green to another making putting a challenging journey for some. Thank you Lombard Glen.

Duke puts a doggy ball down on #13 but someone ended up cutting in between the Slammer groups and took the doggie ball. Duke is awarded the dog after the event wrapup.
Stymie, a group winner, has a great day on the course. He wins all his matches, becomes the new B2, wins a dog and a skin and shoots a solid A score. Well done Sir.
