The Slammers enjoyed one of the best maintained courses in the Ottawa area. Mature trees, rolling mounds, water, large rocks and strategically located bunkers set the challenges for the day and the tricky greens encouraged high approach shots and caution on putting speed. Two CMPC quarter-final matches with Gatorette advancing to the semi-finals in the Ladies C and Footie moving to the semi-final round in the Super Senior B. Congratulations to all participants. Four doggies captured and 4 skins with birdies were won. It was a Slammers' defender's day as successful match play defences outnumber upsets by the margin of 4 to 1.
