Driving out to Rockland I heard the radio announcer say summer is almost over. Nonsense I thought since we still have several months of great golf left. We teed off under good conditions and it was dry but rain came down halfway through the round. We stuck it out and manage to successfully complete the two nines. Stroke played scores seemed higher than usual and only two Slammers, Pouf and Noodlehead managed to go 3-0-0. All four doggies captured and 8 skins won but only 3 with birdies. There were 15 eights recorded all on par 5s. Of the 18 matches played today, only 2 were upsets while the remaining 16 were successful defenses. Thanks to all my fellow Slammers for sticking in out today like Slammers do. Your OC, KC.
Moose played very well under tough conditions and played so well as to capture the Matheson Realty event winner crown. He defeats KidsClub and Nicky on the 13th hole to successfully defend his lofty C1 rank. He shoots below his median and under drier conditions would have score much lower.
