Absolutely super late summer weather and great course conditions provided the right ingredients for the Slammers to test their skills and enjoy match Slammer golf. Some great golf on display and match play results shows upsets 4 and successful defences 14. The Senior Open Final was played and Flynnstone (Sean Flynn) defeated Bagpipes (Terry Brannan) on the 17th. Congratulations. The Doggie Master (KC) announced it was a 4 dog day and the Skin Master (IronMaiden) announced it was a 4 Skin day. IronMaiden approaches the pinnacle of success on the Slammer Tour playing in her 999th career event. Congrats! Overall it was a great day to be Slammin' in picture perfect conditions. Your OC, KC.
The weather and course conditions was exactly what the golf gods prescribed for T-bird to have an outstanding Slammer performance and become the Matheson Realty event winner. T-bird defeats Hero, Duke and IronMaiden. He wins 3 of the 4 Dogs today and 2 of the 4 Skins. He registers 2 birdies and shoots a sweet 79, 5 below his median. Not only is he the event winner, he is also the big bones winner winning nearly two thirds of all the bones. Outstanding Slammer performance by T-bird. Congratulations!!
