Designed by Stanley Thompson in 1929, the Montebello golf course still is amongst the best and most challenging public courses in Quebec. It's not a grip and rip it course but more a strategic play course particularly with the elevation changes and forests along the fairways. But none the less, it an enjoyable course to play challenging your golf skills. Duke and Big Red play well and so did Moose and Rocky Roy. Only 1 birdie capture today. Seven skins registered and all 5 doggies were won. One trifecta in the field. And C1 change hands as we played towards the Run for #1. Thank you my fellow Slammers.

Yes Rocky Roy had an outstanding day and is today's Matheson Realty event winner as he successfully wins his matches vs Latey Dress, Gunner and KidsClub. He wins the C1 crown. He registers a trifecta which is a doggie, a skin and bird on one hole. Overall he takes home 2 doggies and 2 skins and is the big bones winner. He is the only player in the field shooting better than his median. And WOW Rocky captures a whopping 19 SJ points. Congratulations, Rocky Roy!!

Course Report

Course was cart path only since it was wet. Greens were super quick with not a flat area on the greens. As always, it was picturesque. Food and beverage service on the 19th hole closed at 5 pm. Thank you Montebello for a challenging day of golf.
