What a great day we had at Stittsville ! Weather forecast was not the most favorable but as often happens we get away with no rain and today was no exception. Temps were in the mid teens and felt utterly balmy after the winter and long drawn out start to this spring. Great day with a great group of Slammers as we start this long weekend Slammin' on a Friday and the 19th hole had all but one in attendance to close out our day. Thanks everyone !
Another tie breaker was needed at the top today with both Hodgy and Moz raking in 11 points each but in the end it was Hodgy who was deemed our event winner with more match points for his defence wins against Stevie Ray and RockJim and the upset win over Cobra to take his B2 spot. Two skins, one dressed as a birdie and the other as a par, round out a great day on the course. Congrats !

Course Report
Stittsville wintered well with greens and fairways that are greening up nicely. And does everyone know about their incredible chef ? They have pretty well one of the best kitchens on the golf circuit and Chef Cuong makes everything from pho to shrimp salad rolls with homemade peanut sauce. He is also the kitchen manager at Bert's where our Sens play. Just sayin'.
