What a truly glorious day for six groups of Slammers to head South of the city to play Prescott for our 2nd Spring event of this 2026 season and it was PGC's opening day! The Slammers were eager to get out there and everyone arrived early to chip and putt in the sunshine as we waited for the clock to strike 12:30 pm. Conditions were generally dry and greens were fast as expected and we made it around the course in good time for a packed course on a hot Spring day. A big welcome to newbie and first timer DeeRex who was a group winner today with two wins. More fun to come - Keep watching the schedule for more events to be posted as we head into May. Two big trips on the schedule as well with three amazing days in Conklin May 1-3 and then four bucket list days at Cabot Cape Breton May 15-18. Spots are available for both trips. Bring on the fun! Great day for Toes as she defends her C1 rank to all that challenged with a win against Meichan and holds on to secure the draws with Gator and JackFlash. A tight doggie on the tough 9th hole and a birdie on the 10th hole (that notably would have been a skin) topped off a super day. Toes played many indoor Slammer Tour events this winter at Golf O Max and it shows! Congrats and keep up the great playing.

Course Report
Prescott was in super early spring condition on this their 2026 opening day. Brock Murphy is the new GM at Prescott and he was there to welcome us as we warmed up and got ready to head out on the course. He was playing in the group just ahead of the Slammers today and was sitting on the patio overlooking the 18th green as we finished.
