Great day with six groups of Slammers taking on Cedarhill and we had a fun 19th hole with a lively wrap up followed by watching the Sens finish their season. Temps were seasonably perfect in the low mid teens and the wind kept our attention but eased off as the day went on. Please take note of the notables today - Funny how conversations can bring out some interesting stories on the 19th hole. Thank you for a great day Slammers, you all made my job easy today.
Mongo was our big winner today ticking off all the boxes going 3-0-0 with the defence wins against Pepi and Gardie and moves into the top 5 of the B ranks with the upset win over Gator on the 17th hole with that spectacular birdie that also earned him a skin and 1/4 of the skins pot! Solid shooting all around as he betters his median score and Mongo tops off this great day securing the doggie on the always challenging 5th hole that had a deep back / right pin today. Congrats and keep up the great playing!

Course Report
Cedarhill was in terrific early spring shape with relatively dry conditions and fairways that are greening up nicely. They seem to have some nice new Adirondack chairs ready for 18th green viewing and set up for relaxing and sipping after the round.

We found out that we have many celebrity look alikes in the Slammer family. Of course there is Cracker aka Michael Myers aka Dr Evil. But Koala has been swarmed by people thinking he is Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo, Millertime as Paul Abdul / Janet Jackson "back in the day" and IronMaiden has been asked if she is Anika while visiting a pub in Orlando FL. Oh and then there is Bugsy who is constantly asked if it was him they saw on the wanted poster at the post office.
