Another fine summer day with enough clouds and enough wind to cool us off at the right moments. Four groups ventured out to Pine View today and we had hard fairways which gave way for some long bombs if you hit 'em straight but stray off the fairways and those long balls were long gone. We had two Devastators on tour today but one was of the female kind. The course was quiet but its the time of year for kids camps and we ran into a large group crossing the fairway on the first hole.

Two weeks of sunshine and no rain has taken its toll on the rough and some fairways; dry conditions out there. Greens were in good shape and are still green.
