We knew that autumn weather was here as only 1 Slammer wore shorts today and Pine View started the morning with a frost delay. Even with the cool weather and a breezing day, the course conditions were such that Slammers could score well. But they didn't according to their strokes but that is the neat thing about match play. You only have to score well enough to take the hole over your opponents. It was a day of upsets as there were only 2 successful defences. Time to wear big kid pants, bring out the fall clothing and dress for the coolness we are about to face in October. Thanks for coming out and Slammin'. It was so enjoyable playing with you.
